My latest post over at NPN (which was written a few months ago)

I am glad that it isn’t my parenting that is getting attacked on the NPN Facebook forum, instead, it seems to always be my actual family and my sexuality. I feel some combination of egged on and actually disheartened that somebody has to leave the forum for disrespectful commenting every time I mention my queer family.
Really great article. And great ideas, too. We struggle with sleep and co-sleeping too with the only occasional solution being me on the guest bed alone. Oh well. We’ll see what happens in the future. People are so nuts over there on FB.
I really appreciate that you put your family out there in the spotlight. I know it can draw some (misplaced) negative attention, but at least it helps us weed out people with such closed minds.
Happy birthday, by the way!
I enjoyed the article.
I’m just thankful that you’re raising awareness, not only about natural parenting, but about lesbian parenting. Some of the most well-adjusted kids I have ever known had two mommies, and some of the most maladjusted kids I have ever known had parents who thought they knew what was “right” and what was “wrong” for everyone. Thanks for your openness and willingness to share, despite the Judgy McJudgersons.
You are an incredible mother. An incredible person. Ignore anyone that has a problem with your lifestyle.
